This company's (Alore and Lorelia) "tryalore.com" advertising comes very close to scamming in my books if not a scam. First of all you do not get a "free trial" of this beauty product as is advertised. They give you 14 days from purchase to "cancel" your membership which means that you must return the product to them after they email you a refund number. No matter if you just received the product on the 14th day so really there is no try out period!! They then charge your credit card and will automatically charge it every month unless you cancel.
I made the mistake of emailing them on the 12 day to cancel (after having read some of the complaints against them) telling them I was cancelling "payment." That apparently was not considered part of their contract as they charged my credit card anyway. I then went on their website and cancelled there. I then phoned them and was told I no longer had an account with them and it is stated on the cancellation that I must pay the 200 some odd cdn I was charged so there was nothing they could do for me. !!!!
These are shuysters of the top order. And poor fool me for falling for their free trial period!! I hope more warnings will be issued on the internet against this company.

First of all thanks for this website.
In fairness I would like to say that after my original complaint Alore Company did contact me today at last. They did read my complaint and thanked me for my feedback on what I felt to be was misleading or false advertising as stated in my original post.
In the meantime as I had the product, I decided to try it out this last week. In spite of my original fear there is nothing wrong with the product. It is an excellent serum and I am pleased with it.
They just need to change advertising tactics.

I just want to add that Lorelia did refund my money today so at least I got partial satisfaction.
