American Camera Company Bait and Switch Internet

Went online and found a great price on a Canon Vixia HF G20 video camera...$654 so I placed the order. Two days later they called me and up sold me a battery, camera bag and lens filter. Should have been $160 more. Upon checking the email recent, the total was $999.98 with no itemization of items...

Upon calling the company...and being transferred back and forth between the two rude men who work this scam...being put on hold if they don't like what you are saying...I was rudely told the camera I originally ordered had Japanese menus and that I didn't want that one. I told them that it did not say that in the description and he referred me to the Terms and Conditions that presents itself just before you hit purchase…I reviewed the micro sized type and it said nothing of the sort.

They are so rude and use bully tactics and put you on hold or transfer you.

They are a complete rip-off. They will tell you the item shipped, and the will have client service email you tracking numbers...but, it never happens.

It has been 19 days since the original order was placed. I missed the even for which i purchased the camera and am helpless to do anything. My credit card company says it will take 60 days to dispute so...I can't even go out and buy a camera elsewhere.

Do not do business with these unethical people.
