American Dreams Puppies Tarra Pudwill Deposit Ripoff Beresford South Dakota

Purchaser, Corita Graves from Riverside, CA, has not been completely truthful in regards to this report filed.  Corita put a deposit down on one of my shih tzu puppies and we scheduled a flight to California once the puppy turned 8 weeks old.  During the next few weeks, I was informed by AKC there was a parentage issue with the puppy's Dad's paperwork stating the previous breeder did not report the correct Father on the registration papers and AKC was in the process of getting it corrected.  As soon as I was told of this, I informed all of my buyers, not just Corita, I ensured Corita the puppy would still be AKC registered but that I may not have the papers by the time the puppy was to fly to California.  Corita and I spoke on the phone and she still continued with purchase of the puppy.  I gave her the option to cancel her purchase but she did not want to do that.  Over the course of several weeks, Corita and I communicated and I continued to send her updated pictures of the puppy per her request.  I spent much time in communication with Corita then I ever had with any other buyer.  I advertised the puppies to be AKC registered and they were, there was never a question in my mind that they wouldnt be.  Corita was not comprehending what I was explaining to her.  Within a couple days of the puppys flight, Corita cancelled her sale and expected an full refund.  I had already purchased kennel, etc and had everything set up for the puppy to be flown.  I sent her a letter explaining my reasons why full non-refundable deposit was not sent to her.  One week after Corita cancelled her sale, I received the AKC registration papers for the puppies. 

In conclusion, I did everything I could to try and explain to Corita the rare situation with the AKC papers, I never told her there was a chance the puppies would not be registered, just that it was going to take a little time for AKC to get the situation resolved.  If she had any question in her mind about the sale, then she should have cancelled as soon as she was told about the previous breeder situation.  In my 8 years of breeding dogs, I have never spent so much time trying to make the buyer understand and reassure them.  I have never had any negative comments about me or my puppies.  I feel this party just has too much time on her hands and loves to falsely accuse people of things that are not true. I have several references who would love to share their great experience buying puppies from me.
