American Furniture Warehouse Would not rectify damaged furniture Englewood Colorado

I purchased a bedroom set in June for $1,000 and when AFW delivered the furniture, the rails on the bed were broke and their were several nicks on the chest & nightstand. The back of the desk and hutch were pulled apart and only half way stapled as well as having several nicks and long scratches that could not be buffed out. When I called customer service they said they would replace the damaged items.

However, when we received the replacements they were worse than the originals we purchased. I called customer service again and they said that they would give me a $50 credit if I kept the damaged pieces. When I complained that $50 was not justified and that I paid for new furniture not damaged, the lady got rude and said well it's obvious that your not going to be happy with anything. She stated" You purchased cheap furniture and you cannot expect to have it perfect."

I explained that I was aware the furniture was not solid wood, but that I had paid for the furniture to be in good new condition not damaged. I told her i wanted it replaced and she said they would not do that. My options were to keep the damaged furniture and take the $50 credit or return the furniture less the delivery charge. I have purchased other items from AFW and have had like experiences. I will never ever buy anything at AFW again!!!!! This place rips people off!
