This 'Company', used a name called American Mystery Shopper,  or Ripoff specialty house, sends advertising to your home that looks legitimate, but it advertises a job opportunity your area working with companies that will provide from $300 to $1000 of income for running 'Mystery SECRET SHOPPER' Assignments.  You are supposed to receive a complete Kit, all you really get is a book called 'How to make Money as a Mystery Shopper', I found the exact same book, published by 'Alpha Publishing', selling online at Amazon.com for $9.95. The book contains names of companies that use Secret Shoppers, and suggestions on how to set up your own business,  WHAT a RIPOFF, they charged me $44.90 to supposedly get an entire opportunity kit, all I got was this book and some flyers to buy other similar books.  I have been ripped off before, but this is rediculous, I can understand if I paid even $20, but $45 bucks for a $10 book, that is highway robbery.  Thanks for nothing! I hope lots of people read this before they get ripped off too.  When you get the book, the name on the envelope is American Publishing Corporation, Book Distribution Center, PO Box 15196, Montclair, CA 91763-5196.
I haven't tried returning the book yet, but supposedly I will get a full refund if I return it within 30 days.  I hesitate to spend the postage to return it, but I am going to do it, and hope for the best.  I received the book today, 04-04-2011. I tried calling their phone number listed online, but it sounds like it has been disconnected.  This is supposed to be their number: (909) 625-4699).
