american water distillers customer service department was automated, left msg, no one returned my call, then called sales person who was incredibly incoherant, on pills, drunk or both, very rude and unwilling to adress concerns with product.  internet

 We bought a water distiller on line from the American water distillers web site... had purchased same brand product 5 years prior with absoluly no problems, but it was damaged during a recent move.

We decided to buy another, but this time the pruduct produced weird tasting water...tastes like plastic!!! And even after several uses theres been no change, so we decided to make an inquiery as to why this was happening.

Upon calling, we were put through to this accented, male voice, automated dialog asking that we state the nature of our call and leave a number to have call returned. No one returned our call so after a couple days we called again and pressed 1 for sales (the only other option given).

The sales rep was unbelievably disgraceful... drunk, on pills, whatever he was on, he was rude and unhelpful to say the least and assumed no responsiblity whatsoever nor did he have anything useful to offer as other means of getting an answer to our questions of concern.

We would hope to find there are still some true pure water making distillers out there with folks of high integrity waiting to take our order! Here"s hoping!
