My stucco company did work for americorp for 1year.Our contract stated that I would be paid between 30 and 45 days after the stucco was finished on each home.It went that way for a while but then they started to wait between 50 to 60 days to pay me.Naturally I left them.I was then sent a letter stating that since I will not be performing work for them they will be holding a 10% retainage on all outstaning invoices untill 1 year from settelment date.Fine with me,I knew taht they would nickel and dime me on some stuff,but that was to be expexted.
That letter was on Oct21,2005.It is now March 07,2006.After the took out their minute expenses they still owe me upwards of $9500.00.I have called them every week since Jan02,2006 and still no check I was wondering if anyone could help.If not do not I repeat DO NOT sub-contract from them.They I have kept in touch with some guys from the job site and have been informed that they own their foundation man $50,000.00 he is too far in the hole to quit.Thank you for reading this any as I said before ANY HELP would be appreciated.
