Very unprofessional and difficult to deal with... I hired AMF Granite to do my kitchen countertops. AMF came in with the lowest bid so I gave them a shot. They missed the original scheduled appointment. I am waiting... and waiting... still waiting... nothing! I had to call to ask when and if they were coming. They said they would show up sometime the next day. Next day they arrived around 10:30am. They said that removal of the old counter tops was included. Well, that's only partially true... They removed the old counter tops and put them in my garage. They do not 'remove' them from the premises. Very POOR workmanship. There's a seam with very visible crevices. There are chips on some of the edges. They were sloppy with the silicone for the sink install. There's silicone, never cleaned up, right smack in the middle of my counters! They sealed OVER that. of course, with some oil based seal which, even after paper towel buffing as instructed, has left a very dull, blotchy finish on the granite. I've tried the recommended Ammonia Free Windex, Hot Soapy Water, and even a Granite Cleaner -- Nothing will clean this! Perhaps it was NOT properly buffed at their warehouse...?!?!? Plus, they still owe me a promised matching cutting board! I called on Monday, and asked that they come out and correct these issues. They said Tuesday afternoon. I am waiting... and waiting... still waiting... nothing! AGAIN, I had to call to ask when and if they were coming. I call the brother, Andrew, who just provides the estimates. He says, it's not his problem -- I must speak to Mark -- he does the scheduling. Mark says they start work at 9am and would call me and come the next morning. Next morning, 9am comes and goes. I start calling at 9:15, and every 20 minutes or so thereafter. Mark does NOT answer my calls. I call Andrew, again. He says they'll show up sometime in the afternoon. He can't and won't give me a time. I'm STILL waiting... I'll continue to POST as my saga continues...

Mark was very pleasant and VERY PROFESSIONAL. He arrived with my cutting board and proceeded to review and address each issue. My counters were over-sealed, thus the dull spots. He cleaned the excess silicone from the counters and cleaned up the excess sealant. He'll be sending a seasoned technician, on Monday, to fix the seam, buff the edges, and clean up the sink silicone. He took pictures so that he could address the issues, with the original installing technicians, to assure that this never happens again. He agreed that the work was not acceptable and that he'd make sure that everything is corrected, quickly, and set right.

I called the bank to put a STOP on the final check. Can't do -- AMF cashed it on the very day they received it!
