I am writing you this correspondence because of the terrible customer service and lack of professionalism and trust I have received at Aamco Transmissions store#330 John Mangan/James Ferrell
6629 Lomas Blvd Ne Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87110 505-265-8849

I have a Silver 1998 Honda Accord EX 3.0L V6 Automatic Transmission. I was having hard shifting problems. The car was taken in first June 26th to have $2788.97 Worth of repairs. They had my car for three days while I rented a car. I talked to Woody about a Aamco promotion before bringing it in- $100 off any Transmission rebuild to which he replied they did take those! Because I paid by Credit card while I was not there they said I did not have the printed coupon at time of receipt and they could not take it! Problem one. Problem 2 When I got my receipt of car repairs they had typed the mileage wrong by 4,000 miles. no new paper work, just crossed out and new mileage written in by hand. When I received my car back it was doing the exact same thing! Brought it back (visit 3) "probably bad Solenoid" when I picked it up said they reprogrammed the car computer (No new Part) again did not work....brought it back the 4rd time we need to drive it some more to figure what the problem is and will order part! Brought it back a 5th time (no part ordered) and still not working they have had my car now a total of 8 business days and still does not run any better than when I first brought it in! So on my way home from a meeting tonight Woody tells me the car is getting worked on and should be ready by tomorrow July28th 2009, I passed the store no more than 5 minutes later and there is my car in the parking lot!! Called right back and asked why my car is not getting worked on? He said I must have seen another car that looked like mine! Just that it had my license plate on it! This guy Woody has lied and deceived me so many times now that now I have to take action. I have been very patient and diplomatic up until now! This cost me $400 more in car rentals and missed time from work to pick up/drop off and now I'm upset! I work for ******** as an Administrator and now will be using all resources at my disposal to get this resolved. I would like a refund of partial of the work done and rental car reimbursement. I trusted the Ammco name as a respectable business across the country. I am seriously thinking about litigation and contacting the BBB here along with different media outlets here in town! I am not just going to let this go! It about the principal do the job right!!
