Got $1263 estimate to repair and paint vehicle. Auto shop had to "order" parts so I paid $600 down for the parts. Big mistake. Waited 2 months for parts and not until I requested a refund of the deposit did the parts magically come in. I should have requested to see them.

After having my vehicle for 3 weeks they finally finished it. I paid balance with personnel check and drove home. On the way home one of the "replaced" parts came off the vehicle because the installed it incorrectly. I then found out the had tried to repair the part instead of replacing it. I immediatly contacted my bank and cancelled payment on the check I had just written.

I then contacted the repair shop to tell them what happened and they couldn't have cared less until I told them I had cancelled payment on the check I just wrote. Then they wanted the car back to fix it and the lousy paint job. I told them there was no way I was giving my car back to them and I wanted my $600 deposit back because none of the parts had been replaced and the paint job looked they had used a spray can.

They refused to return $600 so I had to file a small claims with the Anchorage court. They never responded to any of the court papers or decisions. The magistrate was getting ready to issue a warrant for the owners, Richard Lee Eaton, arrest. He finally paid the $600 and all court cost. Ended up costing him almost $800.

This company is a sham. They have a contract with the state of Alaska as a transfer station for junk cars. They use these cars to make repairs to other vehicles. Check the Anchorage court system at using the owners name, Richard L. Eaton. His son who has the same name is the operator of the business. He is just as big a crook has his father. Between the two of them they have had almost 50 court cases filed against them for one reason or another since 1990.

They did not repalce any of the damaged parts on my vehicle. They tried to repair them. They paint job was done in an open bay garage where other auto repairs where being made. Dust particles where all over the paint there was overspary every where on other parts of my vehicle that didn't get painted.

Don't do any business with this company. Check them out with the BBB. They have several cases against them. They are located at 1748 Post Rd in Anchorage, AK.
