Andersen Windows Inc. Andersen Corp. Do NOT HONOR their Warranty Bayport, Minnesota

We had those Andersen Fenchwood sliding doors that is totally a defects, and water would leak through the the door panels in multiple locations, from the wood panels itself, as well as the seal at the bottom of the glass. When it rain, the water would leak about five feet into the house, and water would drip down to the lower level and damaged the floor underneath as well. 

Andersen Windows did not honor their warranty. They were imposing delivery fees to the customers through their sub-contractor. The delivery should be of no charge for the customer to receive the replacement parts, if the replacement was order through their customer service department.

Andersen Windows have their sub-contractor charge me $100.00 for the delivery of the replacement door panels, that are still under warranty, which should be at no cost for the delivery to the homeowner.

Andersen Windows agreed to me that there is no cost for the delivery with them. But they insisted the customer to have to go with the one sub-contractor they appointed. And Andersen Windows have their sub-contractor ordered the replacement parts, without informing and notify the homeowner of their options. And then Andersen Windows imposed the delivery fees to the customers through their sub-contractor.

Andersen Windows insisted that we either pay the delivery fees to their sub-contractor or we would have to pick up the door panels ourselves. But the panels they shipped to this sub-contractor are located in another City, another County, which is too far from our home for us to pick up. We have no means to pick up the panels either.

So the truth is Andersen Windows did not Honor their warranty. That is not fair, not ethical, for a big company to treat their customers so unfairly.
