  I resigned from my position with Andy Ahern many moons ago, and after getting a job with another company, Andy decided to file a lawsuit against me. I had stress on myself and loved ones. The outcome of the lawsuit-- he lost! This is the kind of stress and boss you will deal with, if you ever apply or work for this company and man. Andy could be a generous person, the downfall of that is that he will later remind you of what he has done for you, and tell other people about your personal life. If you ever speak with him, always keep your personal life to yourself, never disclose anything to him. After careful thought and consideration I concluded that my core values were not aligned with the dysfunctional organizational culture at Ahern & Associates Ltd. It was time to move on to maintain my health, sanity, and overall happiness. I never received any form of leadership at Ahern & Associates Ltd. Originally, I believed the biggest challenge at Ahern would stem from a lack of systems. However, I quickly realized that inflated egos, office politics and administrative incompetence would prove to be bigger obstacles. These dynamics are not conducive to innovation and productivity. Due to ambiguous policies and procedures and the inconsistent application and enforcement of both, I was deprived of fair and equitable treatment. I did not receive fair pay for the work I was held accountable for, even after several requests. Additionally, I was reprimanded for fabricated, unsubstantiated claims regarding my performance and behavior in Andy Ahern's mind. I’m positive my experience isn’t an isolated one. The turnover rates and lack of employee engagement and satisfaction are further evidence of Ahern & Associates Ltd’s inability to attract, develop and retain talent. Unfortunately, it became abundantly clear to me that I would be out of integrity to attempt to attract employees to such a toxic and dysfunctional work place. I refuse to convince professionals to work for this company that operates like a start-up “mom-n-pop shop” rampant with nepotism and cronyism.
