Aplus.net is a ripoff Hosting, Domain names, outsources oversea's labor and raises fee's They have not been horrible but because they choose to raise fees and make control panel design changes that do not really don't help but make things worse. Unhappy with Aplus.net and this is why.

In 2008 $8.40 to $9.99 from 2010 and now 2012 $12.99 to register .com domains with them, when their competition is charging

They increased prices on other domain extensions too like net, .biz, .info, .us and etc also.

Does the services get better with spending more at Aplus.net, no. Why increase? Well you ask me, they hire people from Mexico, India, Canada and the Philippines but their home office is in San Diego, not much service in good old USA yet they’re their outsourcing labor and asking customers to pay more.

What’s the competition price for a .com domain, well it’s about $7.65, that’s $5.34 cheaper than Aplus.net.  Aplus.net went from $9.99 to $12.99 a year on .com registrations which is $3.00 more and what is improved to spend more, nothing. Got a technical question, need service or hosting support, well hold on, they’re in Mexico, India, Canada and the Philippines.

Second they raised their business hosting plans from $179.55 to $197.55 a year also and you back in 2010, they had a decent FTP hosting manager page, with was well organized but after they came up with a terrible idea to dump the original page and went with something less user friendly and more awful looking. I complained about it but they had no real reason to tell me for the change but I personally can’t stand their current hosting manager page. You have to spend more time scrolling to do anything on your website or site building page or content editor and etc, it really stinks now.

Yes I am a current customer of Aplus.net and have used Alus.net since 2004 which personally I have not been happy with them since 2008 and with the increases, I am outraged with them charging me more when their competition is charging less for domain registers and hosting. If they brought back the 2010 hosting control manager panel back (like the example pic I attached) I would be somewhat happier because that was one of the reasons I did business with them was having a good access to my domains but they made some bad business choices for their customers and this has me searching for a better service & hosting control manager panel. I have no problem paying more but not with Aplus.net, they don’t deserve the extra increases for price, in fact they should lower their cost for the inconvenience they have done to their customers with making things difficult for them such as myself. I have searched online and I know as I am not alone on my complaints with them, there is other customers that are upset on their changes and prices also.

So I want to post my experience about Aplus.net because I have been with them so long it is time for me to find someone else. They’re fees are not justified and they hiring overseas employees to short cut American jobs also is something I don’t believe in, especially when you raise fees and you hire more overseas employees.

I am not a fan of Ripoff Report and as I own my content I write and I am not giving my content to Ripoffreport as I am the author if this report as I retain my copy right on my report. If Aplus.net decides to make changes than I will otherwise think of staying with them.  I made my suggestions with them but they made no concerns to my issues on what I was unhappy about is why I decided to post on Ripoff Report.
