I hired these people to move me. I did an on line quote and was 100% honest right down to the box. Sean sent me back a quote and told me the move was "boderline two trucks". OK, I can live with that right? He sends a driver out and they proceed to load my stuff, they tell me they are done and they will meet me at my new house. I go back in as they leave and they left two full rooms of furniture and a half of another. The driver NEVER said a word about what he loaded or the fact that everything was not going on the truck or that it would not fit, he just up and drove off. They loaded only the light stuff from downstairs and left the heavy furniture that was upstairs. I was upset, I called into to talk to Sean but had my son call because I was mad. He cussed out my son on the phone even though my son only stated what had happened and never raised his voice or used profanity. He then had the driver call me on my cell and tell me he would not unload until the truck until they got paid.(As if I was not going to pay them!) When they got to my house they tried to collect more than the guaranteed quote they gave on line. I filed a complaint with the BBB what a joke! They "could not resolve it" so they closed the case and called it resolved. (I guess that way Apple gets to retain their Gold star rating) They said Apple gave a reasonable explanation. I did not know there was a reasonable explanation for ripping someone off! I paid $1273.00 to move half my furniture 70 miles. I had to be out of the house I had sold so I had to go get a U-haul and spend all night moving the rest of my stuff in the middle of a bad storm. These people are very unprofessional and even said it was my fault that I should have known all that stuff would not fit on one truck? What? I am supposed to know how big their truck is and what will fit on it when I have given them a list of every item? The quantity of furniture and boxes they did not move was about half my furniture. It seems like we are not the only ones to have been cussed by this company for complaining.

I can not speak to the Austin Group, but I can tell you that Houston and Dallas are somehow affiliated (maybe relatives or something) they have exactly the same logo on the trucks right down to the Apple sticking out of the worm.
