i also purchased a card from aspen and they sent me a card i called and got it activated. i bought a bag of popcorn and they billed me 489.00 for movie popcorn the popcorn was 3.75. thats arip off!i have asked for a bill and they did not send me any info just collection calls no proof i had purchase. the card was declined for the large bag of popcorn.

I APPLIED FOR A CARD IN 2005, NOT RECENTLY. GET ALL OF THE FACTS NOT SOME AND I EXCEPT YOUR APOLOGY!!!!!! IT SHOWS ON MY CREDIT REPORT UPDATED LAST YEAR THEY ARE STILL WORKING SOME WHERE! WHERE?

With just a little research I see that the entire company shut down Sept 2009. It was apparently shut down by the FTC just like a similar credit card for people with bad credit (Tribute card). The existing customer base at that time could make monthly payments to pay off their balance but the credit card was closed to new purchases. I don't know when you tried to use the card, but it wouldn't have accepted any new charges at all as it is not an open and functioning credit card company for over four years now.
