Asseenontv - Shoppershalt.com RIP OFF OF ASSEENONTV Online New Jersey

I also ordered an item online from "asseenontv" from shoppershalt.com on December 5th. I received an email from them saying they received my order, and it was being processed on 12/5/07. I then received an email on Dec 15th saying my credit card was charged for the order.

On Dec 17th I emailed the company and asked what the status of my order was. No response. I emailed again on the 19th. No response. I too clicked on their "talk to a LIVE rep" button and talked online to "Nadine". She said the same things to me "no worries, its in process". I told her that I wanted a tracking number. She said "I have no tracking number". I told her that I wanted a phone number of a supervisor. She gave me a phone number (wish i still had it but i dont) of an Indian man somewhere in a "warehouse" across the globe. He put me on hold and told me my order had been shipped on Dec 15th. I asked for a tracking number. He said "um...let me look, ummm...here's one" and gave me a tracking number. I put him on hold and look up that number on DHLs website. It said it was a good number, but the order wasnt trackable yet. I hung up, and kept tracking it.

I finally realized that I was being ripped off when I clicked on the "live person" button again and "Nadine" replied again. I told her she was the same person i spoke to before, and she said she was "checking on my order"...and it was "in process but she didnt know where it was".

I never received the item, and they arent responding to my emails. I am going to see where else I can contact for further investigation, perhaps the Channel 2 news out here will investigate.

BEWARE of ALL "as seen on tv" adds. Some are fakes!!!
