Asset Acceptance, LLC They literally stole my money!! Warren Michigan

My live-in girlfriend of 5 years had an old credit card with Kay Jewelers. She had this card long before she met me and I am not connected to this card AT ALL, nor is my name on any complaint concerning this account. The account was sold to a nasty little company called Asset Acceptance, LLC. To make a long story short I owe these people NOTHING, my name is not on the account nor am I a plaintiff in ANY action by these people.

In February of this year they managed to get an order to freeze MY checking account (I AM the primary name on the account) until they got their $2900.00. In Pennsylvania where we live it is ILLEGAL to seize wages or regularly scheduled direct-deposits, not to mention that I DON'T OWE THEM ANY MONEY!! We appealed to a judge who actually ruled that my direct-deposited wages were NO LONGER direct-deposited wages when they hit my checking account and therefore Asset Acceptance were allowed to STEAL my money.

When you live paycheck to paycheck as we do losing almost $3000.00 in a month is a huge blow. We have since then had utilities shut off and are now past-due on almost everything. Judge William Morgan of Warren, PA allowed these sleaze-balls to take money from me that I do not owe them. That, in my mind, is theft and that is my story.
