Recently, I started a manufacturing company similar to one a family member of mine owned. The ratings and/or complaints that I (my company) have or have had on BBB are zero yet the BBB decided it would link my company to my family members who has a few complaints. I have repeatedly ask the BBB not to do this and to remove the erroneous listing it has about my company. This has cost my company hundreds of thousands of dollars and the BBB is refusing to remove the listing.
I believe the reason for the BBB attack on my company is a direct result of personal feelings one or two of the staff members there have against my family member that has absolutely nothing to do with consumer complaints. I don’t know, maybe when BBBs Staff member came over seeking employment with my family member’s company he should have hired them. However, during the interview I can tell you a lot about the BBBs unfair and illegal practices was disclosed. I am living proof that the BBB provides inaccurate, unfair, bias, unethical, and erroneous information on their site. Our company does not have one complaint on the site, not one. We have yet to have any dissatisfied customers yet we have an F rating with the BBB.
