On May 19th 2016 I Googled convertible tops then chose autotops.net and ordered dvd installation guide for VW cambrio..paid for it with paypal then waited three days...never recieved a tracking # so requested one by email.   No answer, no reply whatsoever...! I checked Paypal and it was debited from my account.  Made a total of three calls by phone over 5 or 6 days and left messages for "Bill" who was the automated answerer to contact me about order that has never arrived.

update on dvd

Finally recieved dvd and using it on my laptop experienced freeze ups and finally could not access the menu to choose various segments to watch...sent email about problem to sender and recieved more abuse and acusations and said he would send another dvd...have not seen it yet arrive...here is his first message back.....

LMAO, imagine that.  Even watched/tested before sending.

Will send another tomorrow. 

here is his second message...

I also sent you the link to watch it online.  I don't think you want this to work and I'm assuming installation is going to be more difficult than you anticipate.  It is very difficult and as described the video in no way implies success.

OK, Fine, whatever, just need SOMETHING from you to work as advertised..!

After filing report  page with ripoff, went to facebook for autotop and seen a comment from someone else about same issue so added my comments to their page with my accusations...then went to Paypal started a dispute and emailed Autotops .net and told them what steps I had taken for satisfaction . shortly after this recieved email from Autotops.net with this content.

For all the time you spent ranting and raving and threatening, you could
have simply communicated, this is the first message I received from you and
it is shipping USPS 9400111899563260821498.

I am sorry we are not as perfect as you, or the postal system may not be.
They all go out USPS first class mail as described, but we sent this one
with tracking since you are saying you didn’t receive it.

This was my reply

HEY, not only did I EMAIL you a couple times about a tracking # update, Not only did I call once to ask a question BEFORE I ordered it...but according to my call log I made five calls to your number, three of them phone requests on your voice mail for contact or tracking # leaving my # each time beginning on the twenty fifth and continued to 27th day ...! Today is the 28th.. I ordered it on the 19th and paid the same day ..and FYI  after I ordered it, my customer for the top I bought elsewhere is furious at the delay as he wanted to use the car this memorial day weekend...I may end up eating the cost of the top thanks to your delays...!

So just take care of business Bill and do not blame others for your own shortcomings..In the off chance that there is two of these sent to me I will be happy to send one back at my expense...Upon noticing that on your face book page there was another person with the very same issue, I figured that your site was a new fake site.  Happy that it was not... Never ever intimated that I was perfect and nor do I expect everyone to be perfect, Buddy,  but I do expect from a legitimate business, timely communication in case there exists a problem with delivery or personal issues preventing timely shipment..!  I will copy the emails for you and forward them and you can see for yourself...!
