On 10/01/2011, I filled in data seeking a quote to ship my car from WI to VA.  Filled out the quote request and was provided an initial quote of $450.00 total.  I then requested further information and was provided a contract and noticed price had jumped from $450.00 to $560.00 plus $175.00 brokerage fee.  Was not interested and informed Al of Advantage Logistics (via email) to disregard and was no longer interested.  I then contracted with American Dream Transports.  On 10/05/2011, the seller of the car in WI notified me that the auto had been picked up.  I called American Dream and they stated that they had not assigned carrier as yet.  On 10/08/2011, Advantage Logistics (AL) called and said that they had my car and I was to submit via moneygram $175.00 to Glen Head NY to Florence Fishman and to pay the carrier $650.00.  I informed him that I did not have a contract with him (never signed a contract nor paid a deposit) and that American Dream was making plans to ship my car.  (Al) stated that he had my data and my car and  for his services that I was to remit $175.00 and to pay the carrier $650.00.  On Sunday, 10/09/2011, Advantage Logistic sent me a contract (yet unsigned) with instructions to sign contract and fax back to them.  What a nightmare.  I received my car on Saturday morning...the driver/transporter (United) said that he was unaware and that he just followed orders.
