Avalonbay are dangerously deceitful corporate abusers and polluters. They conduct themselves as a RICO crime syndicate while posing as an upstanding corporate citizen. They do the most ***atrocious*** (very twisted, cruel stuff) to innocent human beings simply trying to live a decent and ordinary life in their own homes. They lie, cheat and steal from tenants with impunity, and when confronted: well, they simply lie more and bigger, of course! It's a whole bunch of them ganged up against one tenant, so do the math about where that goes. Employees are trained to bully, harass, extort and collude against tenants and, wow, do they really seem to enjoy the power trip of that whole dynamic. Truly sickening! Avalonbay refuses to acknowledge tenants have any right to privacy and they conduct (no kidding folks) an extensive resident surveillance program, replete with 'secret files' kept for the purpose of denying tenants access to the legal system and equal protection under the law (cha-ching! all in the name obscene corporate greed). Furthermore, neighbors are encouraged and incentivized to find and submit as much 'dirt' as possible on their neighbors--Gestapo recruits we called them in Ossining. Imagine what a hostile environment that is to try to raise your children in! The cheap firetraps they built are also unbearable noise traps and unfit for human habitation. My entire 4-story building would literally shake when a 13 year old child ran up the stairs. Every visitor commented that they had never before seen such shoddy construction. They all agreed: this place won the "cardboard box" living award. No exaggeration, it would sound like your neighbors were in your own unit at times, the walls are so astonishingly thin. Avalonbay's breathtakingly extortionist treatment of American citizens in their own homes is a shocking and brutal reminderthat democracies don't come free and fascists like this will move in and destroy everything that makes this country great if we let them.
