Avistele At Deerwood Cheats, Rip Off, Fraudulant, Deceptive Jacksonville Florida

O.K. Avistele At Deerwood is a Apartment complex and is located on the South side of Jacksonville. After my husband and I signed the lease contract we were told that we would have to pay a mandatory at door trash pickup collection fee(this should be an option for those that want the convenience). This was outrageous given the fact that one of the many community trash bins is located directly across the street from our unit. We have to watch a man come everyday and pick our trash up from the door and walk across the street to put it in the bin, just ridiculous!

We also found out that the water bill was our responsibility which is not a problem in itself, However when we learned that there are NO individual meters to determine the amount of water we consumed I got concerned. I proceeded to call their office and was directed to call a separate company that they were contracted with.

I talked to a representative there and was told the following nonsense. The water bills are broken down by the entire water consumption of the complex, number of residents in the complex, number of individuals per apartment, and apartment size. I then asked if I can see all this information on a monthly basis and was told that this was impossible.

I am new to the Jacksonville, FL area however I think this practice is, for the lack of a better word fraudulent. My husband and I travel a lot and we do not use large sums of water but we still are charged the same amount every month sometimes more, never less. This practice would have been a deal breaker for us had we known prior to signing the lease.
