Also received in the mail today - October 12, 2005 - official looking letter from AWARD CONSULTING COMMISSION trying to scam me out of $8.95 plus $2.00 for rush delivery. They make it appear that I have won $248,000.00 but if you read carefully it says on the back:
"This offer is an opportunity to purchase an easy to read and understand report that compiles entry details for cash rewards and prize opportunities... We do not guarantee the cash or prizes..."
It goes on and on but suffice it to say on the front of the letter they make it sound as if it's time to celebrate ("on this very happy occasion"). They said they will be "checking the mail daily" for my reply. I hope they hold their breath waiting because they'll suffocate and die and we'll all be well rid of them!
