In July, 2010 I called B&A Power Washing to see about having our deck power washed and stained. I had measurements for the deck to give to B&A, if someone needed it for a ruff estimate.
When I talked to B&A, I was told that the power wash and stain could be done. Then I was told to give them my ruff estimate of the measurements of the deck. After what seem like a second, I was told the job would cost $350.00. All I say was OK to that price only. I did not give them the OK to do the deck. After I said OK to the price, B&A then wanted me to set a date to come over. So I set a date for
What happen was. My Husband and I were at work, and my Brother in law who was visiting use from out of town, was at our home. Thank God he was at the house. On
I called B&A to find out what went wrong, and that I did not give them permission to power wash and seal the deck. Then I was told, by B&A for the 1st time.
* WE DO
* WE DO NOT COME TO YOUR HOME TO DO ESTIMATES.
* WE DO NOT STAIN DECKS, JUST POWER
But when I talked to B&A at first, I said power wash and stain; and B&A said YES, we can do that.
If you look at the before and after pictures on B&As web site, the pictures of the decks look stained to me. So the pictures on the web site are falsified.
I said this to B&A, about the pictures on the web, and the appearance of stain, and that our deck looks nothing like the picture on our web site. B&A said that I was wrong. This was not stain! Just Power Washed and Sealant only! Then I said, you need to change your web site pictures.
B&A also said to me.
* IF ANY DAMAGE IS DONE. THAT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
* WE DO NOT CALL YOU AFTERWARDS TO
So, how will you be paying use? What is your credit card?
So I said
I call again. No one ever came or returned my phone call. All B&A did was reduced the bill to $300, but would not send anyone over to check on the job. Its not that we did not want to pay. Just show us a little satisfaction and respect. Now the collection office is calling on my Husbands phone at work. But B&A will not return my phone calls. B&A just keep sending the same bill over and over again.
My Husband called
*YOU WILL NOT SPEAK TO ANYONE
*YOU BETTER
* I AM NOT CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS
Then she said. Pay the bill or get off the phone!
So now I just received another bill. Not $300.00 but $330.00

Customer Refuses to Pay

On July 7,2010 Donna & John Mason scheduled to have her deck power washed and sealed. It was actually an estimate at arrival which means we go to the property measure the deck when we arrive and if the customer agrees we start the work that day. We arrived at the property and called Donna Mason at work and she agreed to pay the price of $300.00.
We have spoken with Donna/John Mason several times trying to collect the money for services rendered. They refuse to pay their bill and we were forced to send them a notice of mechanics lien to obtain payment for the service.
We never took vulgar words or raised our voices when trying to collect the money due to our company.
We have been in business for 18 years and have very high standards for keeping our customers satisfied and happy. Mr. & Mrs. Mason never had a problem with the scheduling of the service or the service its self they just do not want to pay their bill.
Please visit our website it clearly states the pictures are before and afters of pressure washing & use a clear sealant. We do not stain and have never done so.
We only what to receive payment for the great work we did on the Mason's deck.
As of now we have to further litigation and mechanics lien of said property to receive these funds due.
