Bank of America a.k.a FIA Card Services encourages its own associates to take your money without authorization to pay off credit card debt, in return they pay off associates semi-lucrative ''incentive'' to reach a high collection goal which can only be achieved through the use of deceptive practices that the bank encourages and motivates its own associates to do. If you've ever made a payment to your Bank of America issued Mastercard, Visa, or American Express credit card using a checking account over the phone with a live rep or automated system, or if you've ever mailed in a live check, and noticed later that money is being taken out of your account by FIA Card Services a.k.a Bank of America without your authorization chances are that they did take your money. I used to be a collector for the company, thee top collector should I say, but I was fired after they accused me of making up checking account numbers which were returned the bank as a payment that was ''unable to locate''. In essence they fired me for not taking money from people's accounts. Taking unauthorized payments is something that the bank turns a blind eye to, but as I came to find out is a widespread practice amongst the bank's credit card collection workshops.

Writing bad checks to pay credit cards
AUTHOR: deepinthepines - (United States of America)

You are right and thanks for mentioning it. FIA just did the same to me, writing a bad ACH check with my old companies info and just making up a bad check and cashing it. I've never used my checking account for this particular credit card since it was a company account and we used company checks but I have had other accounts and have paid those accounts with personal checks. Thiefs, crooks and liars. I'd be happy to be part of a class action suit and seek damages if anyone is interested?
