  Hello,

I would just like to advise anybody who considered or is thinking about buying a car from this "dealership" to think twice. I am not the 1st one complaining about this guy and I don't wish you to be the next one..

I bought a 2003 Honda Accord from Dustin Barrett on November 13th, 2009. I thought I was getting a great deal, but I was just putting myself in a whole lot of trouble. At first,  I was told that "the corporation would send you the title in the mail within 2 weeks". In early december, I read all the complaints about him online. Then, I started bothering him again and he told me " I'll have the DMV deliver the title in my name (Dustin Barrett) and I will just sign it over to you"
.
Early January 2010, Dustin told me "the DMV could not deliver the title in his name because his driver license was expired". Don't get me wrong, I knew all along that those were just lies and that he was just buying time to get a hold on the title. On January 13th 2010, I received a call from his "so-called Dad" who gave me the same story about the expired license. That same day, the temporary tag expired and Dustin suggested that "he would mail me a Texas dealer tag that I would be driving in Missouri". Obviously, I did not receive any dealer tag even though he assured that he mailed it to my address overnight.

Today, February 28th 2010, I am just getting back from Dallas ater returning the car to Garland, TX. Dustin Barrett was not even there even though we agree to meet at his dealership. He left the money ($missing 450.00) with a certain Ruben and turned off his phone. Apparently, while on his lot, I met the rightful owner of the 2003 honda accord. Chris & Samantha gave Dustin the car in order for him to sell it for them. However, ustin took the money from me and never paid Chris & Samantha.

Dustin, I would just like to tell you that I am not even mad at you. I would just like to advise you to think about doing something else. Your carlot does not even look like one. No offense, but you shall seriously think about something that will make you a better person ( Army, marines, Man of God...) instead of playing those little games.

To anybody who is thinking about buying a car from this dealership, I advise you to seriously reconsider it ( bring a mechanic to inspect vehicle, take the title in your hand while paying, and and and do not take his word )

Dustin got me too

AUTHOR: Michael - (United States)

POSTED: Sunday, December 10, 2017

He convinced me we were starting a business in LA. I gave him $120,000 my life savings. I signed a contract but he's never kept up with it. We did go to LA once but he bought 20 pounds of pot and tried to get me to drive it back...I did not.... Hes a big pot dealer here and knows the big guys in Cali. Even though it legal there he's still messing with illegal business. If you buy a car from any Barrett family I bet 50% of the cars had the milage rolled back. He's trying to run that scam on some cars we bought from the exotic car rental place. There in my name but for 5 months now they won't change the titles.

There is a scan going on, my name is not on the titles but I'm making the payments. They also forged my signature on another car for Im reporting tomorrow. He also has two of my cars he won't give back that I bought from the same car place...they all turn back the miles. They drive the s**t out of them and rent them then roll back the miles and sale them at auction. That's why they don't change the titles it saves them money and something to do with rolling back the miles.... Im reporting him tomorrow. One more thing he used my social security # 4 months ago to rent an apartment in L.A. I'm just finding all this out....He was a friend...
