Like the majority of people looking for good quality cosmetic surgeons, I dedicated quite a while researching doctors to perform my first-ever procedure. Dr. Barry J. Cohen happened to have a location not too far from me and had so-so reviews. Some good, some bad, but oh how I wish people were more honest when reviewing this doctor.
I scheduled a consultation about a week ago and was utterly disgusted by this man’s attitude. After taking me in 30 minutes late, I felt that he rushed my entire appointment. We talked for about 10 minutes before he quickly put an end to our discussion all together.
My gut was telling me that this definitely wasn’t a man dedicated to his work and that this could possibly turn out to be a terrible experience. I just wish he took the time to show me options like I was promised by the office manager. I would never recommend a surgeon to anyone that doesn’t even have time to go over the procedure and completely map out exactly what a patient wants done. For all I know, I would have walked out looking worse than I had before. NO THANK YOU!

Thank you for taking the time to review my practice. There are/were some critical facts left out. First, All physicians, including myself, do our best to stay on time. For reasons mostly out of our control, this does not always happen. I personally always apologize for keeping people waiting. A half hour wait time in any physician office is certainly not out of the ordinary. Second, your complaint omitted the fact that your consult, like all of my consults are FREE. How this experience allows you to conclude I am a Bad doctor is beyond me. Finally, my reviews are far from "so so". I take great care of my patients and am always available to them. I have no idea why someone would take the time to slander a physician in this manner, in an annonymous fashion, with the above noted experience. Sure sounds like someone with an axe to grind.
