I was looking for assistance with funding and Barry Pope was recommended to me to help clean up my credit so that my credit score would go up.  I called him and he answered his phone right away.  He was eager to help out and said his fee was $600.  Spoke with the gentleman that recommended Barry to me and he said that it was a good price to pay for the credit services.  I had to deposit the money into his account so he could begin the credit services.  He was very communicative the day I had to make a deposit into his account and promised me that my credit score would be higher within 2-3 weeks.  He said he was a man of his word and that he's been helping people for many years.

A little over a week had passed and I decided to check in with Barry.  Called him, sent him text messages and it was silent.  Then I contacted the broker that recommended Barry to me.  He called Barry and Barry finally answered and said that everything was in place and we should a change in my credit score "soon".  A few days passed and still no change.  Called Barry again and sent him text messages... again, no response from Barry.  Again, I had to contact the broker that recommeded him to me and he again contacted Barry.  Barry finally responded but again the broker had trouble getting any responses from Barry.  When we finally got a hold of Barry, he said not to worry and that "Everything was in place".  Again told us that the updates to my credit would be there in the next few days.  This went on for 2-3 more weeks.  Each time, Barry would promise us and that he gave us his "word".

Six weeks later still no changes to my credit and Barry was not responding at all.  Same pattern and when we finally got a hold of him and asked him what the issue was, he said that there was a hiccup internally, however that everything was in place and "tomorrow you will see an update" and this was Tuesday.  We believe he used the funds to get his car fixed and other things.  We gave him until that Friday and absolutley nothing.  Then, Barry became nonresponsive.  Will not return calls or text messages.

The gentleman that recommended him to me will no longer do business with him.  Please be careful.  Do not do any business with this gentleman.  He is a scam artist and used the money for something else.  Somehow, we will get someone to invesitgate him and his business which he continues to "advertise" on his LI profle but no websites that he references exist.  He's very sneaky and can't be trusted.
