Barstow Brokers Shannon Ellis Promised my husband a guaranteed secured loan with $2360 depoist ,Internet

My husband applied for a loan with American General Finances thru his job UPS. He was declined and hen the next day contacted by Shannon Ellis asking was he still interested in the loan and that their was an alternative loan he was approved for.

They sent him a contract, he provided all his personal information, pay stubs, drivers licenses, bank account information, etc.

The terms of the loan was that it was secured and he had to put up a depost of 5 months for a total of $2360 before recieving the loan funds.

Before sending any money we did research first asking the company questions about their business, we also contacted AGF to see if they had a history with the company of brokers and they advised us no so we then became very suspicious. The company has a website and is listed in the internet yellow pages so we felt to some degree that they were legit until it was time for us to send them the deposit and I guess all our questions made them nervous because once it was time to send our deposit Shannon had to call back every time which she never did. My husband emailed her and we both left several messages with no response. We have a binding contract with this company saying that our loan was guaranteed but to no avail we have yet to hear or receive any funds from this company. Fortunately for us we went with our gut instinct and did not send them via wire as requested( an cannot be retracted) any money.
