HI,
My transmission was slipping a bit in so took it in. Bay transmission said I needed a rebuild. I got the rebuild for 1700. Bay Transmission never checked the fluid level before stating the trans needed a rebuild. Bay Transmission never took off the pan to check for metal before stating I needed a rebuild.
The transmission after the rebuild would thump in gear. It was enough to make you feel like someone was kicking you in the back. I tried to get it fixed by Bay Transmission, but when I came back they got real nasty. All the nice stuff was gone. According to the Santa Rosa police records there is a person with the same name as the owner who has done prison time for assault and battery.
Forget the BBB, they get paid by businesses and are worthless. The court system really is bad also. Disclaimer to avoid lawyers: Everything on this report is my opinion and only an opinion. The statements in this report may or may not be factual.

Finally an honest garage. Bay transmission sved me thousand over the Dodge dealer here in Milton Fl.
I never wrtite reviews but they went above and beyond what I expected. They diagnosed the problem a solenoid pack issue? repaired it and got me back o the road within 24 hours. I've only found 2 places that go this far vannoy's 9 mile and Bay transmission on Pine forest road. I was googling transmissions shops in pensacola and Milton area. This bad review came up and made me aprehensive but I had numerous people tell me the only people they trust with their vehicle is bay transmission and I heard hirst was good too. I'm glad i went with the people i work with at UWF suggestion.
The owner told me a quote on how much it'd cost if that was the only problem, but it could be more once they get in there and open her up. It came out 70$ less than the quoted ammount. This never happens to me it is usually double the estimate. I couldn't be more thrilled with them .

I disagree with David

I have had 5 transmissions or clutches done by Bay Transmissions on different cars and have always been satisfied with there work. They realize I am on a budget and treat every visit as if my vehicle was theres, giving good advice on prioritizing the work. I never feel like they are trying to make a fast buck off of me. For David to say that they did not even check the fluids is obsurd as that is the very first thing they have done every single time I go there.
He TOTALLY STANDS BY HIS WORK, I had a clutch replaced there this January (2014) and I had issues with it. The Owner diagnosed it was a bad unit from the verdor and they promptly replaced it at no charge.
No matter if I go in or my wife or son, we all get treated will good, solid advice and Danny treats everyone with respect especially not talking down to non mechanical people.
And the work that they do has always been top notch. I will go no place elce for my transmission work.

Warranties are always honored

Hi, i would like to set the record straight about this incidcent. All warranties are always honored, and every customer gets a receipt to prove it. If the transmission was slipping checking the fluid and dropping the pan are not neccessary to determine that the transmission has a problem. There is only one way to fix that issue right, not just patch it to cover the symptoms.
If the Transmission was "thumping" in gear and shifting hard and it was not functioning properly there would be no questions about getting it fixed. I have been in business for over 18 years and have strived on reputation alone.
