I am hoping that someone out there will have information on the same company that i am currently being harrassed by.
I took out a payday loan sometime ago through fast cash advance. I could not pay it off in a timley manner,so it was then that they forwarded my account to the EVIL Bayside Asset Manangement...and it was then that my life has changed for the worse.
I have recieved numerous sometimes four to five calls a day at work . I have asked them not to call me at work and they continue to do so. Last week they called and i was not working, and the secretary told them i was not there and they called her a liar, and started hollering at her, they also did this to my supervisor. They also proceeded to tell my coworker who answered the phone, that they wanted to speak with me due to a fraudulent check charge..naturally my coworkers interest was peaked even though they were lying this is highly embarrasing.
today they called me at home calling me names, and when i said well i can send you 60.00 today and 50 a week they said dont bother we will go to court, now mind you that i only took the loan out for 200 and now according to them owe 600.00. right after i got off the phone with them my phone rang and the person said this is "officer Delmar and i represent Bayside asset management. he asked me where i was going to be in the next two hours, because he wanted to come meet with me and discuss it. when i asked for his department and badge number he hung the phone up on me..
I know for a fact it was bayside asset because i could hear a rep arguing with another customer in the background. So this place has stooped as low as impersonating a police officer. Which is illegal. Furthermore i find it highly illegal to harrass me at work, and tell my coworkers about my bill. They are using scare tactics to try to pressure me..Trust me if i had the money they would be paid off by now. I am hoping that someone out there will have some advice for me as what should i do. They wont leave me alone, and are constantly threatening me with jail, and the court. HELP WHAT DO I DO....

need to get them on tape making threats

What are doing is illegal. I suggest you spend 20.00 and get the cord to hook up to a phone and record the threats.
Once you have the recording file a complaint with the Attorney General of your state. I would also file with the Federal Trade Commission. They would be real interested. There is a new federal agency called Consumer financial protection Bureau. File a complaint there. Prejudgment interest is 12% in most states. 600.00 on a 200.00 loan is loan sharking.
File the complaints. They will sing a different tune when you have them recorded. You probably with the help of a National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) attorney collect some money.
You might also try Debtorboards on the internet. They are a com. Put the two together and you have their website. They give free advise. They don't sell anything.
Get them on tape. Do not give them bank info. Learn your rights under the Fair Debt collection protection Act. If your coworker is willing to tell her story in an Notarized affidavitt. You can sue them for that.
Ask these coworkers to help you and make notes what they say and get the names of them calling.
They can not discuss your affairs with other people. This is a slam dunk case if you get the evidence.
at least get the tape and file a complaints with AG office, FTC, and CFPB.
Good luck
Good Luck

Do not pay them a d**n dime

Does the caller have a pakistani or a middle eastern accent? If he does tell him avery strong death curse has been put on him. They believe in this. Tell him if he wants it removed it will cost him over 500 million dollars and has 1 hour to come up with the money. If he does not come up with the money he will die a horrible death with in 2 days. After he dies the curse will be passed down to the youngest member if the family and he will have 6hours to live.
