This company appeals to young people trying to get a first job. If you have job experiene, the red flags go up immediately But they cater to very naive people who find their 700-1200 pw salary enticing. Interviews are scheduled simultaneously so that the sense of competition is huge, and there is loud pop music playing (so weird) so that no one talks in the miniscule reception area with plastic chairs. Awkward. 

No job desciption is ever made but the managerial opportunities are stressed. It seems as though this could be the golden ticket! Not so fast.

The interview was quick. There was a diagram illustrating the four management sectors and a lot of mindless jargon like "vision" and "teamwork" and "b2b marketing". Never was the job description clarified. I was asked if I felt comfortable talking face to face with clients, and I said yes. I was then told that if selected for an interview, I woul be notified and then the next day required to attend a day-long interview. I left feeling optimistic. 

That optimism was soon replaced by the feeling that the pop music, unprofessional secretary, plastic chairs, and nonexistent job details just didn't add up. I found articles about people describing nearly the exact experience I had, only they were called back for the Day 2 and made to sell raffel tickets on the streets. 

Needless to say, I am happy that I did my research and kept away from the scam. However, I cannot stop thinking that there is a scam in Brisbane and that innocent people are being sucked in. Please read other scam stories about Be Interactive, as my experience ended after Day 1.
