This woman leaves messages before 8AM and after 8PM. There is no explanation of why she's calling, from day one she implies we've been ignoring the calls (which we had never received); and the message is usually cut-off so that until we used a phone with caller ID we did not have a full number to call her back!

When I tried to find out why she was calling she offered little to no reason other than to say the amount of money we owe her for a bad check and that we are going to be sued. She refuses to confirm any detailed information (such as my address) which she says she has, and should if she's in possession of a bad check of mine. She consistently tells me she needs a credit card number from me or we'll be sued any day. She says we've been sent all kinds of notices by mail (we've received none) and doesn't want to hear my "nonsense", just pay the money to her with a credit card. She will not give a last name nor will she clearly state the law firms name or address. She hangs up if you ask her to do this repeatedly when she continues to mumble or evade your questions.

I'm happy to pay a debt that I owe but I will certainly not give this woman or this law firm any information. I plan to go straight to the company that is supposedly in possession of an unpaid check of mine. Hopefully I can handle it that way. If this woman continues to call me with threats and at ridiculous hours I will take any action I can. I'm sick of low integrity people and companies getting away with such behavior.
