When I took the car in for an estimate, the Paul, the technician inspected the car and I was told by the owner that the repairs were relatively routine. When asked if it was an insurance claim, I told him no and he promised he would work with me to make the car as good as new again for a fair price. After 30 minutes, the written estimate came out at $5300 and change. I had already been quoted 5K by another shop, and I told him that I would be happy to pay an extra 300 for quick service. He projected a 10 day turnaround. This was on a  Monday, April 20th around 2:00 pm. He gave me a ride to my house, as I lived 5 minutes away. On the way home, Mr. Bergman assured me the car was in good hands and he will keep me updated on the progress. I asked him to contact me if the repairs were to exceed 10% of the estimate before proceeding with any repair.

10 days later on Wednesday the 29th of April, I called thinking my car would be ready. I talked to a guy named Rub. I asked if the car was ready and on budget. He said he would go check and take some pictures to show me the progress. No answer on the budget. He never called me back, and he never texted me pictures.

Another 3 days passed and I called again. This was Monday the 4th of May at 10:00 am. Again, Rub promised he would call me back and text me pictures of the progress. He never did. I called again at 1:50 and asked for the owner. Mr. Bergman got on the line and I proceeded to ask him why his manager made promises to call me back and send pictures but never did. He then told me he would personally handle my cars progress and I should talk to him, not Rub. When I asked if the budget was still good, he said as far as he knew, it was on budget except for one or two parts that it needed.

Monday, May 11th I called again at 12:30 pm. I asked for Mr. Bergman, but he was out. The technician Paul said I could come down to see the progress. I went down to look at the car and noticed that all the seats were removed and the front drivers side seat had not been replaced. They apparently had just stuffed the new airbag into the seat, and there was an opening on the left side that you could tell they were not able to make it look right again. Before I left I asked Paul to have Mr. Bergman call me. He did not call.

On Wednesday at 11:30, May 13th, I called Bergmans again to ask for progress. Mr. Bergman said things were progressing nicely, and all the car needed was the airbag computer to be reset. I asked if we were still on budget, he said as far as he knew we were.

On Tuesday, May 19th, I called and asked if the car was ready yet. He said yes. Then I asked him for the final cost and he said he did not know. I asked him to call me to let me know and I would come down to pay him and pick the car up. Again, I was told we were on budget this whole time by the owner Micheal Bergman. From 4/20 to 5/19 I have been told this. I assumed we were within 10% of the estimate because this is what we had discussed verbally.

Mr. Berman called me later at 6:28 pm to tell me that the final charges were 7900 dollars. I almost threw up. How could this company get the estimate off so much? The final bill was 67% higher than the original estimate. We finally settled on $6500 (to the owners credit I thought), only to find out that they only replaced one of the tires, the drivers side window and lock still don't work, and the alternator is still bad. I just dropped it off and I will get everything fixed for $500 more dollars by a REPUTABLE repair shop.

In closing, this company is a scam. There is absolutely no customer support or accountability. When they say they will do something, they don't do it. 10% is reasonable. 67% is highway robbery. Do NOT use this company.
