Best Price Photo what a RIP! Brooklyn New York

 if it's too good to be true- it is. Thru 'price-grabber' I found Best price Photo and ordered a Nikon 1V1. I was surprised when the guy called me next day, said he needed to confirm that i had ordered the camera, since it was over $300, then talked me into buying an extra battery for it. When i balked at the price he asked strange qustions- if the camera was for myself. If I was over 50. In that case he could give me the battery for less. The guy has a strong accent so some of the weirdness of the call I wrote off to issues with communication, even though that should have been a dead- give- away clue that they are ripping me off.

I ordered the camera on Aug. 15th and was charged on Aug 16th receiving an email that my card had been charged and that the order went to the warehouse and that i should receive the camera in 8-10 buisness days. Yes you guessed it, it didn't get here. I called them and they said yes, there was a delay since now it will get shipped by Nikon directly, if i wanted the UPS tracking code. Yes i say. That email never came. Mo was the date they told me that it should finally be here. Mo.- no camera.

Tues. morning I call the same ext. 518 that I was supposed to contact if i have any questions about the order. The same guy picks up, I say my camera was supposed to be here yeterday, and it didn't get here. He screems at me that he is giving me a 'last chance' not sure what he meant, and that he is not customer service. And what's your last name he asks. I give him my last name- foreign sounding, and he totally rudely says what kind of a name is this anyway. then puts me on hold for so long that i had to hang up to go to work. Today i called the number without the ext.518.

Different guy answers. Camera will be there within the next couple of days. Nikon will send me a ups tracking number two days before they ship it. Then I went on the internet and found all these similar sounding reports about these guys. i called my credit card company.
