I became aware of this company by answering an ad on Los Angles craigslist, dated April 9, 2015:

Models - print catalog - TARGET (Los Angeles)

Ages: 18-55, male and female
Fresh Faces welcome, NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Please include name, email, phone and a clear recent photo

Compensation: $6,000+ for 3-5 day shoot, travel/lodging provided to Minneapolis

I answered the ad, because I hate these low life scammers. Received an email signed by Manning, in which I was directed to register with an organisation called EIPA (eipaus.org), appearantly a Union under which the print shoot is sanctioned. I know from experience, there is NO union for print work! RED FLAG!

I than googled Bill Beckman Casting/Andrew Manning, I found this: nerdandtie.com/tag/bill-beckman-casting/ which is a detailed report about this agency scamming people, a very popular practise in the film and print industry, unfortunately.

All I can say, my son having worked for Target, they do not pay $6000+ for a 3-5 day shoot. RED FLAG!

Please be careful when answering these ads. Anyone asking for money to get a job in the "industry" is a scammer. Definitely!
