is more than likely the company who bought your 'account' from BMG, which is probably non-existent.  They did the same thing to me, and it dropped my credit score by nearly 100 points over about $36.  I refused to pay it--it was NOT my debt.
Verifying the debt will do no good, as Experian will tell you within 24 hours that it is valid.  Also, requesting validation from the collection agency will net you nothing more than a computer printout with a bunch of movie titles and dates--no concret proof that you made any purchases.

I ended up filing a complaint with the FTC and with my state attorney general.  Once the attorney general got involved and filed an inquiry with the collection agency, I received a letter from the bogus collector 3 weeks later that they had ordered all 3 credit bureaus to remove this from my credit report and restore my score to what it was.  I called to confirm, and it is no longer showing on my credit.

Good luck!
