The Board of Public Works is charging their customers a additional fee/Gaffney City Transfer Fee: $2.14.
The BPW is giving The City of Gaffney over $500,000.00 a year, so why are the customers being charged this additional fee?
The company has already given severance pay to 10 employees, which is a cut-back and this already is saving the company a good deal of money.
Plus, the Board of Public Works is also paying for a rifle range which as a customer I do not believe in firearms so why is the money that customers are paying the utility company being used to support guns which kill people?
Use the money to fix up the city pool and provide activities for our youth instead. Do something productive for the the young people who are our future.
They sent out a letter saying they are upgrading their accounting and customer information computer system. The system upgrade is restructuring all customer accounts which include the assignment of a new account.
This is strange the account number should remain the same. Is there something they are trying to hide from the State of South Carolina and the Government?
