Bonaventure Memory Care of Lacey gave so much independence and choice to my Mom that we found her walking the halls in dirty clothes having not brushed her teeth for days!
On that same visit we found no sheets on her bed and all of her towels missing in her bathroom. The staff "took note of it" and did nothing. The next day there was still no sheet on the bed and although they could not find her towels they had not at least found a towel to place in her bathroom.
Our Mom needs help! She is very confused and therefore her level of care costs us $6600.00 a month. You would have thought this amount enough for the staff to provide her the "dignity" of brushed teeth and clean clothes!
Never let your loved one near this facility!

We understand its hard to please everyone. Memory Care can be tough on a family and its hard to understand changes their loved ones are going through. Care Level costs, in addition to rent, start at $450 to the mid $2000 range. NOT $6000+. Families provide towels, sheets and clothes. If we have enough on hand we are able to accomidate. Sometimes we don't get enough at move in. And of course, it is Memory Care. "Neighbors" might think that those things belong to them and take them. It's all part of the journey and in most cases, we can work it out. We have a loving, caring staff who are engaged with the residents. We do make sure everyone is clean and safe, including teeth brushing and hair washing and combing. Bonaventure of Lacey Memory Care is a great place for your family!
