First off, let me say that I ordered NUMEROUS times against so many things I had heard from AR15.com and MANY other internet based blogs and boards and NEVER had any issues....UNTIL NOW! My fathers FIRST order with them was bad and he never went back, my uncle has had issues, but, NORMALLY gets satisfaction, but ONLY after threats and my cousin had to address a fruadulent order and present legal actions if there was no change made and then he received a coupon. BUT I, KEPT telling people to go there and kept getting fast orders and great prices without a bobble!
I placed an order for a quad rail (not an inexpensive item, but not cheap), 2 Matech Back Up Iron Sites (BUIS) that were normally around 80 usd (US DOLLARS) and was on sale for under 50 usd, but I have seen them over 125 usd on other sites, a rifle rail that costs less than 7 usd and maybe a couple other items. The order went through, my card was charged and I received the digital invoice. Nothing came up on back order or otherwise, just easy and no issues at all.
A few days later, I received the parcel and upon inspection, I noticed it was from Botach, who I always considered a great company in price and satisfaction in choices. No damage to package, no outside invoice, nothing out of the ordinary.
I open the package and one by one take the items out and thought to myself, "where the heck are the items" because I knew this was NOT the correct amount of products.
I searched the parcel with success in finding an invoice. Odd, because most people use them to fulfill the order as they check each asset prior to packing.
Upon review of the update by email, nothing was different, no parcel to come later, no backorder, NOTHING! When I attempted to email, they said, "Nope, we sent it all and it had everything in it!". And told me maybe someone had taken something out and I needed to file a claim with UPS for theft. I asked them how did they ensure that and no one could answer.
Now, if I were going to remove something, it would not be the LEAST expensive or PART of the items that were inside! AND THAT IS EXACTLY what was missing. Instead of hearing me out, they told me that they would not replace it, and it was all sent. YET, a partial order is NOT fulfilled and how many people do they attempt this on and how did they check without knowing WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE BOX? SUCH BS!
Now, if you forget to add one item to each parcel, but dont take responsibility for them, how much are you defrauding the general public and making THEM take action for what you simply should ENSURE IS IN THE PACKAGE before you send them out! With the track record, I never questioned it and it never affected me so I gave them benefit of the doubt. NOW, a twenty year veteran of the US armed forces gets ripped off for what, simply for you to save a few bucks?!?! I have an AR collection of about 20 different rifles and I can assure you, NOT getting those items would have broke me if I just accepted THEIR actions on each one of my purchases. My collection of overall weapons, is valued over 80 grand and I could careless about lying about a 7 dollar piece and a 50 dollar piece. WHY WOULD I HAVE NOT LIED or if I were someone who was worried about getting over, I would have claimed the most expensive items were ALL GONE!
This is CRAZY and NOW, I have to go through all of this and completing a chargeback on my card for an item that I STILL NEED! And to think I was just asking them about a 700 USD scope and an AR 15 upper that is VERY pricey! I still want the items, but, how can I trust them when all THEY have to say is, OF COURSE WE SENT IT and not put d**k in a box when they had NO PROBLEM TAKING MY CARD PAYMENT. AND THIS IS A DEBIT CARD NOT CREDIT! SO I PAY CASH!
BE SURE TO ASK THEM FOR A CHECKED INVOICE AND WHAT THEIR POLICY IS ON A NONFILLED ORDER before you attempt to put faith in the very people you trust your card with!
