Boxes R Us Lost Property and Broken chair. Negligence in responding and could care less!!! Jamaica New York

I recently made a move under one mile in Brooklyn NY and was seraching for the right movers to handle the job. Not a hard move at all. There was elevator access in the first place and two steps down in the other. So after weighing my options I decided to go with Boxes R Us because they had the best deal or so I thought.

The minium price was 90 and hour for three hours which was perfect because I had less than one mile to move to. They gentlemen started at 9:00AM and somehow went to 2:00PM. Costing over 600 dollars. Each man, believe it or not took bathroom brakes which lasted over 15minutes per guy.

Anyhow, after getting to the new place one of the movers brought in our chair, which is an antique with the arm broken off. He went on to say that "a little wood glue would fix it right up." No sorry or anything else.

Then after unpacking we came across that we were missing two lamps that we purchased at the Conran Shop. I very expensive boutique furniture store. I called them back and they said they were going to check. Dana the woman who was handling it said she would call me back with no avail. I waited two days then called back myself. They said they found nothing.

So now I'm stuck without 2 lamps I just bought and a broken chair that was an heirloom. These guys are incompent and very unproffesional. WARNING NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF AND NOT GET HELP WHEN YOU NEED. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
