Brava Hair Studio and Spa Lisa Hawkins Did a horrible bridal trial and will not return the money I paid so I can go elsewhere on my wedding day. fort walton Beach, Florida

    I paid 175.00 for their bridal package which was supposed to include a full make up trail, a full hair trial and the make up and hair done the day of the wedding. I went to the trial and I can't even begin to explain how dissappointed I was. Like the another review on google said, the woman (LISA) took a quick glance at the picture then just started doing what she wanted to do. She put a few bobby pins on top and curled maybe 4 sections of hair. She told me that she wanted to get the "general shape" of the style without actually doing a hairstyle. She spent about 8 minutes on my hair. I told her politely that it's not like the picture and she said it will look a 100 times different the day of the wedding. It was the same with the make up. I guess they didn't want to waste their product on my trial because she used power and a little eyeshadow and some lipstick...thats it! She said that she just wanted to ask what colors I like and spent about 5 minutes applying makeup. She too said it would look completly different and better on the wedding day. I paid an extra 75.00 for something I could do at home in less than 20 minutes!!

    I actually called the next day and said that I don't feel comfortable with the work they did. I told her that the reason I paid extra for a trial was because I wanted to see the final look of my wedding day. She offered me to come in a do another trial but when I did, the makeup artist was busy so she took it apon herself to do my makeup. It looked sooooo bad!! It had no coverage and she applyed dark brown eye shadow all around my eyes and BRIGHT pink blush and lipstick! I think she was going for a smokey look but if just looked like I slept in my makeup from a bad night partying. Even my fiance was shocked with how bad it looked! When I told her that it didn't look anything like the picture she said, " oh well I'm not the makeup artist but it will look better on your wedding day when she does it." Then when I asked her if we could get started on the hair, she said "if your going to wear it down,just  there is no need for a hair trial." It was ridiculous. Now I would like my money back for the wedding day so I can go elsewhere but she is saying that she will not return it!! She says her refund policy is on the wbsite. I'm guessing that they expect every customer to walk in holding a computer!! I plan on contacting the better buisness bureau and a lawyer this week!
