Recived a phone call on my cell saying that cashlink was charging me with felony charges of fraud and theft of goods. The caller said that he was Mr. Brewer one of the atty's at Brewer, Michaels and Kane with a "K". Said the debt was 3680.00 but that the original charge was 400 or 500. I then asked if i could settle which he said they could for 1538.91 of which they get a post dated check in that amount. He gave me a case number and recording # for the FTC. After I got off the phone I then called my attorney and they my bank. FTC had no record of that number didnt even know who they were. The number Mr. Brewer gave to me sent me to another number of 1115158000
which in turn told me nothing. So I then placed a fraud alert on my acct.
