On Tuesday May 13, 2014, I was contacted by Brian Hardy who saw a ad that I posted on a Shelby Forum requesting help finding a carberator for my car. Brian and I then corresponded via email several times about the part with pictures of the part and agreed on a price. I sent him the funds via Moneygram and he confirmed he received payment on the 14th. I contacted Brian via email on the 19th requesting tracking number for the shipment. He informed me that he had issues with sending because the shipping estimate was more then he originally was quoted. I replied he needed to check with the USPS for shipping costs and sent him a screen shot of the quote from USPS. When he did not respond, I decided to look him up on google and found this website with 3 other complaints about this person and his wife. I am filing a police report about this matter.

Karren Hardy and Brian Hardy are still at it.
I got ripped of by them for a Moto Guzzi part. I tried to file a police report, they wont do much since it is confusing as to where the crime occured. In Kansas or where I live NM. AS he uses a gmail account the IP address is not available. Once he gets your moneygram he dissapers. The place where they pick up their mony in KC is Ace Cash Systems and they are very familiar with Karren hardy and it wouldnt surprise me if they are not known to each other as the person I spoke with at Ace initially was very helfull until I said the name Karren Hardy, then they wouldnt give me any more information. I went ahead and set up another email with an alias and emailed Brian at briancowboys788@gmail.com asking him about some MC parts, sure enought he whole scam started again. If the Denver police want to speak with me I would be ahppy to let them know what I have found out about Brian and Karren Hardy.
We are still emailing each other regarding the new part my alias needs. I am trying to get Brian to meet in person for a cash payment and pick up of the part with a friend of mine in KC but I doubt that will happen. I am getting a small degree of satisfaction stringing Brian along. I hope he gets caught as he has been at this for a very long time.
