Brian Trembath Scam Artist, Claims to be able to fix your home, but really just takes your money and runs Pontiac Michigan

 Brian Trembath of Pontiac, MI is not a licensed/insured builder!! He by law cannot perform home repairs! Please run in the other direction from this hack!

 First and foremost how dare you attack my child, myself and my family. Your sister Tina Sargent told me this would happen, you slandered her name all over the place after you ripped her off over $10,000. I have a beautiful home, my son is not neglected by any means and I'm hardly a drunk. I have never been in trouble with the law for any drug or drunk related issues, can't say the same for you remind me again who is the one with warrants? The truth comes out when you talk to the right people. This is all beside the whole point here, you are trying to take the focus off of what the real issue is and that is you are a thief and you scammed a single mother out of thousands of dollars!!! I am not your first victim Mr. Trembath but hopefully I will be the last!!!! You are not even licensed or insured, come to find out, to do home repairs that's pretty scary. Can you tell me again what happened with ReCom Construction? I believe you were caught trying to scam your partner?? I guess it is true what they say a leopard can't change its spots. You make your living ripping people off, well you ripped off the wrong person I am not taking this lightly, my bedroom and bathroom is uninhabitable and that is your fault!! You were paid very generously to do a job but you spent all the money and now it's my fault somehow?? I trusted you were an honest person, I know better now that I should never have given you the money up front!! HUGE mistake on my part, but you do know how to talk a good game. Please explain where are the receipts for all the materials?? I've asked for them repeatedly and you won't produce them!! There is absolutely no way you spent that kind of money on the little bit that you did do, when you weren't caught napping during the middle of the day that is.. you are absolutely 100% pathetic Mr. Trembath, you are not a man of God as you claim to be, you are a fraud. Shame on you!!

 so this woman is trying to say that I don't deserve to be paid for my services. I have no reason to defend myself anymore. I was paid about $5,000 in labor. Unfortunately I spent most of that money on that woman and her poor neglected son. Poor little guy. Spend his days with a tablet in his lap while his mom drinks until she falls over or passes out. You want to file a complaint why don't you complain about your brother who f***** up your entire floor, your whole house is falling apart. But that's what you get when you buy a trailer..

 I have to explain this, I was not given $16,000 from the insurance company to repair my bathroom, because of the way my policy was written they depreciate the claim so for Mr. Trembath to make it out that there was an additional $5000 somewhere is ludicrous. He walked the claim rep through my home and pointed out all that needed to be fixed or replaced and the rep wrote the claim estimate accordingly and from there they depreciate the value being it is a manufactured home. With that being said, I repeatedly expressed I did not want anything flashy I wanted it to be simple. He did not buy me a new tub, my insurance company paid for the tub which I may add he chipped, please see attached photos.

He didn't cut the hole for the shower head before putting the tile up either. Any good contractor knows you do that before you put the tile up. He did not redo my laundry room, there was no need to it was not affected, just another lie on his part. He is not going to intimidate me as he thought he would the day I asked him to leave. Had I known he was spending the insurance money on other things, like the engine he said he purchased for me I NEVER would have agreed to it!! I am not a woman who needs a man to take care of her. Mr. Trembath wanted way more than I was willing to give him and that is when this job started taking a backslide. I did not want a relationship with him and I guess this was his way to pay me back. Just my opinion.

 I am still waiting on all receipts for materials from Mr. Trembath which as the homeowner I am fully entitled to. If in fact he is honest and doesn't have anything to hide why have is it I have not received them yet?? We were "friends" before I hired him to do the work, he lived down the street from my family years ago and had reconnected through FB and the point is?? Did we hang out yes, I am not understanding where business gets mixed up here. It is nothing more than a diversion on his part, grasping at straws if you will. Trying to defame my character which is how he works. Mr. Trembath purchased tools for himself from the money that was supposed to be used to fix what was damaged. He took complete control of this job, ignoring what I wanted, which I have his helper Terry as a witness to this.

I should also mention that he never paid his helper for his work on this job and lied telling him it was completed!! He never pulled permits and come to find out was dishonest about having his builders license. I am not the first woman that Mr. Trembath has done this to, as a matter of fact there are at least 3 others that he has taken advantage of. I was not even staying in my home for a whole month after the fire happened my son and I were at a hotel, I would stop in after work some days and the work would already be done he took it upon himself to perform work I did not approve. I spoke to a woman at Floor Source which is where my carpet was supposedly at and they told me that the carpet was something they carry in stock so there would be no need for a "special order" which for weeks Mr.Trembath lied and said it hadn't been delivered to the store, come to find out the order was never paid for!! It was only when I confronted Mr. Trembath about my materials and when this was going to be wrapped up did he get defensive, aggressive and "offended" and informed me the money was gone.

He most certainly did not spend that kind of money on the mediocre job that he did do. As I've said I have witnesses that will attest to the fact that he is a blatant liar and will go to great lengths to try and discredit the victim of his thievery. I welcome anyone to come to my home at any time and you will see for yourself what the truth is. The absolute bottom line here is I am left with a job unfinished and there is no way it cost $10,000 to do. Again I welcome any reputable contractor to come out and have a look at this bathroom. Mr. Trembath preys on unsuspecting and trusting people, he obviously can't make an honest living any other way. Look at the results of his previous business ReCom Construction, the proof is in the pudding. I am more than willing to bring forth witnesses and prior victims. You scammed me and you know you did Mr. Trembath.

 this is nothing more than a client that I became romantically involved with. This was an insurance claim worth $16,000 of which I was only paid 11. I demoed this entire bathroom down to the studs. I also redid the electrical, plumbing, drywall, expanded her closet, new closet packages, redid her laundry room including new organizers. When I was in the crawl space I noticed her plumbing was not up to code. So on my own and at my own expense I redid half the plumbing in her home. I bought her a new tub and built a shower with new tile and all new plumbing. I also gave her new updated doors and hardware. After I discovered how much she drank daily I decided I should leave.

When I told her this she became enraged and asked me to leave. Only then did she file this compliant. If you look at the pics, my work is impeccable. This claim proves you can't please everyone and some people are vengeful no matter what you do. I did attempt to make this right but when I discovered I had spent more than I was paid I decided to let it go. Finally this woman failed to mention that while I was there her car died. And out of the kindness of my heart I bought her a new motor asking nothing in return. I also babysat her som several times while working for her. Of coarse wht mention the good I did.
