Broadway Photo Camera No Deal rip-off scam

After talking with customer service about the Sony DSC-S85 Digital Camera on Aug. 8, 2001, I went to my bank for a money
order for the cost and mailed it to them. When I had not received the camer last Tuesday[8-21-01], I called them. After I gave my first name they called me by my last name which told me that they had the paperwork before them. They told me that
they would call me back in one hour with the status of my order.
After two hours, I emailed them [with a copy of the money order
receipt]asking for information about the camera. I did not get
an answer by phone or email.

I called again today. After being on hold and picking up and realizing that it was I holding and telling me to hold on again
over and over for about 25 minutes, they finally told me that
they would call me back in an hour. It was about an hour and a
half. They told me that they couldn't find the camera. It wasn't on backorder so they must have returned my "check" to me.
I told them it was a m.o. and they said:"whatever" and hung up.
I hope that I get my money order back before I have to take other
