Bronson Migliaccio calling me at work, harrassment phone calls, telling me they will put a lein against my bank acct. New York

I have had a Mr. Thomas from Bronson Migliaccio call me at work on 11/29 5 times, telling me that i owe an amount of 1450.88 for a credit card that i had back in 2001 for Tribute. i said that i would set up making payment arrangements cause i do not have the full amount to pay, he threanted me with putting a lien against my bank accounts and i said well that is great how am i suppose to take care of my little girl with no money he didn't seem to care. i then asked him if he could fax me proof of what i owed and he said that he would have to talk to his manager about that he then called me back and told me that i could owe 1150.00. I said i would still like that faxed to me for proof of what i owe. That was at 8:45 this morning, i have not received anything as of yet and i don't think that i will receive anything. i want to know if it is legal for them to garnish my wages. I am hoping to hear back from someone regarding this matter.
