Bryant & Stratton College Enrollment Lies Eastlake Ohio

Beware,

I went to speak to an enrollment advisor at this college as a new student. I beleive her name was Karen, She said that she would help me to start back to school. She called me several times after I left to see if I was to  decide to come back. I told her that I had lost my job and that I did not have the money to attend college and she said not to worry that as a single mother it would not be costly at Bryant Stratton. I was desperate and decided to enroll after talking with someone as helpful as her.

I went to the student loan department inside the school and sat down with a girl who helped me with my application. I informed her that I did not understand the process several times. I have always been a slow learner at school especially with figures and math and struggled greatly in this area. I asked her several times what I owed the school and she said that I had a zero balance and showed me the papers that I signed in front of her. I told her that was good because I did not have any money to pay them. She said that they would give me the money for my books on a card Higher One that was used for school purposed. When I signed these papers I did not realize that there was a hidden loan company that shadows behind Bryant Stratton and that although I owed them no money I owe this loan company thousands!!!! Each time I went to enroll they always told me that I owed no money. This can be very misleading to someone who is a slow learner and has other mental health issues that I have struggled with all my life. I think that this company misleads people into signing papers and now this company is "hounding me to pay back a debt" they call my family and myself and have spoken to me like I am a criminal. I am a single mom who is broke and was trying to better myself. I have never had credit card debt, or any kind of loans all my life. When they call me they ask me for all my informatiion and even want to know if I have children. I explained to them that they should have all this information and they said "No we do not" Bryant Stratton has that information. I told them that is who they should call because they should have to settle the debt with Bryant Stratton based on the lies the loan departmetn told me. How is ti possible to have a loan with a company I never sat down with face to face or signed papers in front or contacted for financial assistance. The school should call them in front of the New Student and explain exactly what is going on and how much money they will owen with this company. Great Lakes Loan.
