Budget Living Media Stole my money! Debited my checking account without my knowledge or permission! New York New York

I had a subscription with this company. I moved six months ago and did not even bother giving them a forwarding address because I didn't want the magazine anymore.

I received no request to renew a subscription and deliberately let the subscription lapse. They took it upon themselves to renew my subscription and directly took money out of my checking account. At no time did I give them authorization to debit my account! When I called to get my money back they told me it would be "one to two billing cycles" before I received a refund. By the way they told me that my subscription was cancelled on 10/22. They stole my money on 11/1 anyway.

I filed a dispute with my bank as well, however I'm told that will not prevent a check from bouncing. So now I'm going to end up with overdraft charges because these thiefs stole my money and won't give it back for one or two months.

By the way... this is the second time that this happened to me in a week. I had this same problem with Fitness Magazine on 10/22. Also when I called both Fitness Magazine and Budget Living it was the same 1-800 number and both times I spoke to some woman who had a heavy accent and was obviously in India. I could barely understand either of them!

I will never purchase another magazine subscription from anyone!!!
