This used to be true.  Now they charge $20 a month for the internet, per "device", meaning if you have 3 computer systems, it's $60 a month to connect.  Aside from paying for the internet at a $20 a month rate, the internet connection from time to time gets extraordinarily slow, worse than AOL dial up speeds slow, however, when the general manager Brian or Assistant Manager Lilly get these kinds of reports, especially from us, they get on the phone and become irate with their own tech staff and chew them a new one.

They no longer charge to use the vacuum, broom, etc and haven't for a year or so now.  However, lately, the vacuum has been abused by so many tenants, we were informed that they cannot loan the vacuum out anymore due to it being too damaged by the last people that used it that they just won't do it anymore.

I've never been charged for a lightbulb nor toilet paper here.  Been here now on the Indian School Location for almost 5 years now.  Sure the last manager Paul didn't do that great of a job as it would seem and the staff were rude at that time period and the courtesy staff that patrolled at night were the worst, it's not so much that way anymore.

The TV's are still older than dirt with AUX and other things being blocked on it entirely, preventing us from hooking up a $40 DVD player we just bought from Wal-Mart.  Had to return it due to being unable to use it all due to the TV.

The noise tends to get taken care of rather well.  Last week, had a group of thugs move in next door to me in building 2, cussing, calling a gal that was walking by a h*e and propositioning her for sex, being loud, smoking weed and drinking booze, throwing beer bottles from the second floor into the parking lot and all around being loud.  They were evicted after an hour of that garbage alongside an arrest for drug use and public intox.

Don't really have a complaint about this company that really stands water considering what all other extended stay hotels are doing, such as the Crossland Economy Studios on W McDowell Rd.  I did enjoy it more when the internet was free and just had to rejoin the network everyday after midnight, but that was fine and it's fine now.

The new management have really turned this place around from being a high priced slum to being a bit better.  They also only seem to charge you for the cigarette butts in front of your place these days when someone reports you throwing cigarette butts on the ground.  This has never been a problem for me since I toss the cherry and place the cigarette butt in the trash in my room or flush it, either or.

All seriousness, they're a lot better now than they have been in the past.  Some of the things like the vacuum bit is only ruined for everyone else by jerks who abuse it and destroy the property.  The damage to the vacuum was said that someone sucked up a bunch of broken glass, water and soda into it and another completely removed the roller from it.
